Dr Bee Meng (Bambie) Lee (MBBS, FRACGP, MPH, Dip Child Health, Dip Pall Care, Dip Clin. Derm)

Bambie is a thorough, caring and compassionate GP.
Graduated from Monash University in 2010, she did her internship and residency at Eastern Health
hospitals in Victoria. She then pursued her training in General Practice in the beautiful rural town of
Port Fairy (midway between Melbourne and Adelaide). It is in Port Fairy that she learnt the art and
skills of being a family doctor.
As all doctors do to keep up their skills and knowledge, Bambie regularly participates in conferences
and webinars to ensure her knowledge is up to date.
She believes that prevention is better than cure.
You will find that she approaches your problems with an open mind and from a whole person
perspective.

Outside of medicine, she is an all-time mum to 2 preschoolers.
Language spoken (fluent) – English, Mandarin and Hokkien.

To provide comprehensive assessment and care, Bambie requests that longer appointments are
made for:
– Mental Health issues
– More than 2 medical issues
– New patient
– Skin checks
– Cervical cancer screening tests (Pap smear / HPV testing)
– Mental health care plans
– Chronic disease management care plans
– Travel medicine consultation
– Implanon insertion/ removal appointments/ skin procedures can only be made after a consultation,
at a separate appointment.
Please note that if the time allocated for your appointment is not required, you will only be billed
at the lower rate.

Results
To ensure complete cycle of care, results must be given over an appointment unless it is normal with
no further individualised advice required. (E.g normal Pap test result with next screening in 5 years).

Fees Notice

Please note as of 8^th September 2023 Dr Bambie Lee’s fees will increase with the AMA recommended fee schedule:

• Standard Appointment: $98 (Medicare rebate $41.20)
• Long Appointment: $180 (Medicare rebate $79.70)
• Extended Appointment: $280 (Medicare rebate: $117)
