Travel vaccines generally range from $35 to $320 each, depending on the vaccine. Your GP will discuss all costs during your consultation before anything is administered.
Medicare will rebate part of the consultation fee if you’re travelling for personal reasons. Medicare rebates are not available for work-related travel medical assessments. The vaccines themselves are generally not covered by Medicare, though some routine boosters may be available under the National Immunisation Program at no cost.

No. There is no evidence that receiving multiple travel vaccinations weakens the immune system. Modern vaccines are carefully tested and contain very specific components designed to trigger a safe immune response.
