Summer is here which means the beautiful warm weather is here too! Most of us are quick to rejoice at the warmth and the extra daylight, but it’s important to make sure that we keep taking care of ourselves and remember the risks that can come with the hot weather.
Some of the common – and perhaps obvious – risks include dehydration, sunburn, heat exhaustion, and snake bites. It’s important to stay cool and hydrated, and avoid staying in the direct sun for extended periods. There are some great resources available online with tips to beat the heat for you and your family.
