Firstly, thank you to our wonderful clients for being so patient while we experienced parking issues throughout the construction phase of the recent development in our street. The Rosslyn Apartments are now complete – if you’re curious to know what they’re like after seeing the gradual progress (like we were!), you can find out more here.
It’s exciting to see some of the updates and changes in our area; especially some of the exciting new cafés and restaurants. Next time you’re travelling in to see our team, maybe you should time it around lunch so that you can stop off and visit one of our new neighbours?!
A great example is a new Japanese restaurant that has recently opened just around the corner in Victoria Street, 279. 279 provides the full experience; though the café design is clean and bright, the menu is hearty and traditional. The menu is built upon Japanese recipes that have been passed down through generations, with sweets and – traditional Japanese – coffee available as well. It’s one to try if you’re looking for something a bit different from our myriad of Melbourne cafés. Concrete Playground recently published a write-up on 279, read it here.
We are seeing a steady shift in the face of West Melbourne, we love seeing our local area develop and grow over time. We’ll be sure to share recommendations with our community wherever possible.
